Lose weight in a way that works in real life.
I help you lose weight by first understanding what is getting in the way, then using 1:1 coaching, personal training, nutrition and habit change to build an approach you can keep doing.
Weight loss rarely gets stuck because you need more rules.
Most weight loss advice is easy to understand. The difficult part is making nutrition, training and daily routines work in the life you actually have.
Work gets busy. Family needs attention. You travel. You eat in restaurants. Stress changes your routines. Training gets interrupted. Motivation goes up and down.
That is why I do not start with a generic meal plan or workout plan. First, we identify what is actually blocking your weight loss, then decide what needs to change.
Start with a 2-hour 1:1 Weight Loss Consultation.
We use the consultation to understand why progress has been difficult, identify what matters most, and decide what to change first. It is a standalone service; ongoing coaching is optional.
1:1 Weight Loss Consultation
This is a practical coaching consultation focused on your situation. We review what you have already tried, what is getting in the way now, and what is most likely to make a meaningful difference.
We can look at nutrition, training, habits, work, family, travel, stress and the practical realities around your daily life.
You leave with clear priorities and next steps, whether or not we continue working together.
Ongoing 1:1 Weight Loss Coaching
If ongoing support is useful, we meet weekly and continue the same process: review what happened, understand why, adjust what needs adjusting, and keep building consistency.
Depending on your needs, coaching can include personal training, strength training, nutrition, habits and support for travel, work, family life and stress.
The goal is to help you become increasingly capable of managing the process yourself.
A practical weight loss coaching process built around your life.
The Talis Method is my 1:1 weight loss coaching process: identify what is blocking progress, change what matters most, see what happens, and adjust until the approach works in real life. It is not a secret diet or one fixed formula.
Identify the real barrier.
Look at previous attempts, nutrition, training, habits, work, family, travel, stress and daily life.
Change as little as necessary.
Focus on the few changes most likely to move things forward instead of changing everything at once.
Make it fit real life.
The approach needs to work during busy weeks, travel, restaurants, family life, holidays and imperfect periods.
Use personal training where it helps.
Strength training, exercise technique and programming can support weight loss and long-term strength, but training is one part of the whole process.
Review and adjust.
What worked? What did not? Why? What should stay, and what needs to change?
Build independence.
The goal is not permanent dependence on a coach. The process should gradually become something you know how to manage yourself.
The approach has to work when life is not ideal.
A solution that only works during a perfect week is not a very useful solution.
Whether we work online or in person, we look for an approach that can keep working through the situations that normally disrupt progress.
- Busy work weeks
- Family responsibilities
- Travel
- Restaurants and social events
- Holidays
- Stress and low-motivation periods
I’ve worked with clients in 20+ countries.
I work from Tallinn with clients online across different countries, schedules and time zones.
Online weight loss coaching and personal training can continue when work, travel or family life takes you somewhere else. The map shows the international reach of my client work.
Results matter. So does what happens afterwards.
The goal is not a short period of perfect behaviour. It is progress that can continue without needing to live under a permanently strict regime.
Lauri worked with me for two years and then chose to continue for another year. The process had to keep working around travel, restaurants and normal life. He still eats and drinks what he enjoys rather than organising his life around a strict regime.
Losing weight can change much more than your weight.
For many clients, changes in strength, movement, fitness and everyday comfort matter even more than the number on the scale.
Back, knees and wrists hurt. Even tennis had become difficult.
After consistent strength training and changes to nutrition, he reported that the pain had decreased noticeably. His body fat decreased at the same time.
The first workout was extremely hard. Later, running to the gym became normal.
Over time, this client lost more than 20 kg, became stronger and improved endurance. At one point, the client ran to the gym in the rain, trained and walked home. Later, the car was sold and everyday movement became a normal part of life.
Nearly 15 kg lighter. The tennis coach noticed the difference on court.
At one point, the coach asked what had changed because the client was reaching balls so much better. Regular strength training and a body almost 15 kg lighter had changed how the client moved on court.
She could not make it up one flight of stairs. Later, she reached the 13th floor.
At the start, she could not walk up even to the first floor. After more than six months of strength training twice a week, she reached the 13th floor. According to the client, a planned back operation was ultimately not needed, and her doctors advised her to continue strength training and add more movement.

I’m Talis Tobreluts, a weight loss coach and personal trainer based in Tallinn, Estonia, working with clients online worldwide.
I lost 30 kg myself. Since then, I have spent more than 10,000 hours working with clients and continued studying the areas that affect whether change actually lasts.
My role is not simply to tell you to exercise more or hand you a list of foods. It is to help you understand what is blocking progress and work out what needs to change in your situation.

Questions about weight loss coaching and personal training.
What happens in the 2-hour Weight Loss Consultation?
We review what you have already tried, what is currently getting in the way, and the areas most likely to matter in your situation, including nutrition, training, habits, work, family, travel and stress. You leave with clear priorities and next steps. The consultation costs €200 and is available online worldwide or in person in Tallinn.
How does ongoing 1:1 Weight Loss Coaching work?
We meet once a week to review what happened, understand what worked and what did not, and adjust the approach. Depending on your needs, the work can include personal training, strength training, nutrition, habits and practical support for real-life situations. Coaching costs €350 per month and is available online worldwide.
Does the coaching include personal training?
Yes, personal training can be part of the service, especially strength training, exercise technique and programming. But the work can also involve nutrition, habits, consistency, stress, travel, work and family life, depending on what is actually affecting your progress.
Do I have to start ongoing coaching after the consultation?
No. The 1:1 Weight Loss Consultation is a standalone paid service. If ongoing coaching makes sense, we can discuss it afterwards.
Do I need to follow a very strict diet?
No. The aim is not to make your life unnecessarily strict. We look for the nutrition changes that matter most and try to make them practical enough to work in your real life.
What if I travel or have an unpredictable schedule?
That is part of the process. An approach that only works during perfect weeks is not useful enough. Travel, busy periods, restaurants and interruptions need to be considered when deciding what is realistic.
Is weight loss the only goal?
Weight loss is the main entry point. Depending on your situation, the process can also involve getting stronger, improving fitness, having more energy, maintaining lost weight and becoming more independent.
Can I contact you before paying?
Yes. Contacting me is the first step. Payment for the consultation is arranged individually after contact.
